The Valdi System is the setting of all Ristar game versions, 8-bit and 16-bit.
It contains the following planets:
Planet Flora (16-bit and 8-bit) - A lush, green planet with plants that grow out of control.
Planet Undertow - A flooded planet with an atlantian landscape.
Planet Scorch - A rocky mechanical wasteland with volcanos erupting almost all the time.
Planet Sonata (16-bit and 8-bit) - A mechanical utopian planet obsessed with music.
Planet Freon - A chilly landscape with ice and snow everywhere.
Planet Automaton (16-bit and 8-bit) - A mechanical wasteland with dangerous traps everywhere.
Planet Terra - A literal dream world about beanstalks and ships.
Planet Timu - A planet revolving around ice and time.
