Biox Co., Ltd. (バイオックス株式会社), previously known as Japan System House Co., Ltd. (日本システムハウス株式会社) is an Japanese videogame development studio which was established in October 1987. initially, they would start developing games for the Famicom/Nintendo Entertainment System. Later, they would generally specialise in making handheld conversions for various notable franchises such as Factory Panic, Mega Man II, Ninja Gaiden Tails Skypartol, Streets of Rage 2. As well as various other projects which they will be outsourced to other companies. They will able tasked for handling the Game Gear version of Ristar which will be released on the same year as its console counterpart.
The port will be notable for its being an near identical port to its console version. As a result, this would earn a good reputation with Sega which able them to work on other Game Gear ports of other games. Unfortunately, the videogame developer would go defunct in 2001.
